The cast and crew are very busy filming new episodes of "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5. It has become one of the most viewed drama series on TV. But viewers are asking: why is Taryn Manning not seen in the previous episodes? Manning plays the role of Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggert. Does she have any problems causing her to miss her part?
Manning Admitted That She Has A Problem
Manning admitted that she has not been seen lately on the show because of a drinking problem. To help her get off from booze, she has voluntarily entered rehab. But rehab takes times, so could this mean she is going to leave "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5?
Manning has been accompanied by a sober friend on the set of the TV drama series. She has also circulated among positive individuals who are there to give help and support. The TV actress also consults and gets advises from some therapists. They are fully committed to helping her overcome her drinking problems. She also goes to AA meetings.
"I am truly grateful for what some call hitting rock bottom," Manning said. "I am not ashamed of this obstacle because I have accepted that it is okay to not be okay," she added. So, if she is intent on overcoming alcohol addiction, and pursue a life free of the booze, she might be able to get back her part in "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5.
