Michael Bublé‘s Son Diagnosed With Cancer; Devastated Singer Goes On Hiatus

Michael Bublé and his wife have just revealed that their oldest son has just been diagnosed with cancer and the Canadian singer has decided to put his music career on hold to take care of his son and his family.

Just hours ago, Michael Bublé announced on his Facebook page about the condition of his son, Noah. The message goes, “We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US.” It has been revealed that prior to the diagnosis, Noah was brought to the doctor with a suspected case of mumps.

Noah is his oldest son with his wife, Luisana Lopilato, an Argentine actress. Noah Bublé was born on August 27, 2013, and that makes him three years old this year. The two stars have another son, Elias, who was born January 22 of this year.

Michael has been busy with his music career the past few years as he released several albums and even held countless tours that sold out. His new single “Nobody But Me” was just released last month. But because family always come first to him, Michael has decided to go on a hiatus to take care of his son, who is battling cancer. It has not been disclosed though what type and stage of cancer Noah were diagnosed with.

The rest of Michael’s post on Facebook read, “We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect our privacy.”

Though Michael and his wife have decided to put a hold on their respective careers, Michael’s spokesman has stated that he was not sure if the Canadian singer would push through with his current commitments. Michael has been scheduled for several appearances, which included the BBC Music Awards this December, the Brit Awards in London in February 2017, and the Juno Awards in Canada in April 2017. Michael has yet to release an official statement regarding this matter.
