Miley Cyrus Posted Her Dramatic Reaction Regarding The Election On Facebook

Miley Cyrus has been a vocal supporter of the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. Even on the candidates campaigned period, Cyrus had been campaigning in person. Early this morning after knowing that Donald Trump wins, she has been left devastated and crying.

Miley Ray Cyrus is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee, she held minor roles in the television series Doc and the film Big Fish in her childhood.

Miley Cyrus posted a video message to express her feelings regarding the result of the election and that Donald Trump rather than Hillary Clinton is the nation's new President.

A distraught Miley struggled to keep her composure in a Facebook video recorded in the early hours of Wednesday morning. According to DailyMail, the 23-year-old said through tears: "I do want to say that I've been very vocal for my support for everyone besides Donald Trump. Heavily supported Bernie Sanders. Heavily supported Hillary. And I still think that in her lifetime she deserves to be the first female president."

“Happy Hippies, we adjust and we accept everyone for who they are,” the controversial pop star and Voice coach said. (The Happy Hippies Foundation is Cyrus’s charitable organization supporting LGBTQ and homeless youth.) “And so Donald Trump I accept you. And this hurts to say, but I even accept you as a president of the United States, and that’s fine.”

She concluded with a plea: “Please just treat people with love, and treat people with compassion, and treat people with respect, and I will do the same for you,” she said, offering to be available for her fans. “If you want to open your mind and open your heart, I would love to give you a key. Thank you so much. Thank you Hillary, for inspiring all of us.” - reported by Time.

Countless people across the country are in an utter state of shock and dismay — including many celebrities like Rowan Blanchard, Ariana Grande, Zendaya, and more — all of whom took to social media to express their sorrow.
