Kia Is Coming To Super Bowl For The Eighth Straight Time

The Super Bowl is again right around the corner and Kia is pulling alongside it once more. The Super Bowl is considered as one of the biggest events, taking place yearly that is capable of reaching an audience of more than a 100 million. This is a great opportunity for automakers to introduce their latest creations. Kia has already confirmed its attendance for the eighth straight time.

The Confirmation

Although ads in the Super Bowl are quite expensive, Kia does not seem to mind. In a report from Auto Guide, a spokesman of Kia confirmed the automaker's eighth straight attendance in the upcoming Super Bowl 51 commercials, which will be taking place in Houston, Texas. Kia is the first auto maker that confirmed to run ads during the Super Bowl following the decision of Toyota to pass on the event.

The Previous Runs

During the previous Super Bowl, Kia showed off its 2016 Optima with the help of Christopher Walken in an ad titled "Walken Closet" as reported by Automotive News. This resulted to recorded sales of 540, 741 units until October or an increase of 2.8 percent. In the previous runs, Auto Guide stated that the help of other famous actors like Laurence Fishburne and Pierce Brosnan have also been tapped by Kia in its Super Bowl commercials.

Other Details

Unfortunately, Kia refused to share any other details about what to expect in the upcoming Super Bowl 51 commercial. However, with the previous years' bringing great ads for the audience and resulting to great runs for the automaker, it is safe to assume that there are good things to look forward to when the Super Bowl 51 finally kicks off. With only a few months to go before the doors are officially opened, people will simply have to be patient and see what happens next.
