In one of Tyler Posey's recent interview, he revealed that his character is thinking of a way to keep Beacon Hills safe as he moves on with his life and go to college. Liam is his top choice to replace him but he's worried that he may be too young for the responsibility. And this could be the ultimate cause why Lydia and Scott just can't be.

Lydia and Scott's Love Story

However, actress Holland Roden reveals that her character could be going to college or possibly not. She shares that her character would have already gone to college last year if that was really the plan but she didn't so she could be staying. If her character decides to stay and Scott decides Liam is just not ready, their love story might just have a happy ending. But if Liam proves he is ready and willing to be the new pack leader of his town, Scott will leave for college and Lydia could be staying behind.

Another possible scenario is if Lydia decides to go where Scott will go. According to Roden, she believes her character is excited to leave Beacon Hills so she is actually surprised Lydia is still there. She could be waiting for Scott and his decision where to go but nothing is confirmed until Scott finally make the biggest choice in his life. Will he stay or leave Beacon Hills and will he fight for his love for Lydia or surrender her to Stiles.

Season 6 Extended with 10 More Episodes

Meanwhile, Season 6 may be confirmed to be the last season for "Teen Wolf" but fans need not be sad because season 6 will have 10 more episodes compared to its previous seasons. According to reports, the first 10 episodes is slated for release this winter while the next 10 episode will air next year. The series will have a total of 100 episode as the season ends next year.
