Play NBA 2K17 For Free This Weekend With Your Xbox Live Gold Membership

If you love basketball, both the real one and the game, then you're in for some good news. Xbox Live is making NBA 2K17 free to play this weekend. There's a little catch, though: the freebie is only for those with Gold membership.

The free NBA 2K17 game will start Nov. 18, at 9 am until Nov. 21, 11:59 pm. Those who are Gold members will have the chance to play their favorite NBA game the whole weekend. Aside from being able to play the game, they will also be given a 30 to 40 percent discount if they purchase the game at the Xbox Store online. So if you want to keep playing the game even after the free play weekend, you can still do so.

NBA 2K17 is one of the most popular games on Xbox due to its almost real-life quality. Game experts consider it as one of the most authentic sports video game and consider it as one of the gold standards of the genre.

NBA 2K17 has recently released its new patch, version 1.05, which brought more improvements to the game in terms of visuals, gameplay, and overall performance. Some of the improvements the patch brought include an update on the Cleveland Cavaliers floor so that it matches their 2016-2017 design and the #42 patch on the Golden State Warriors' uniforms in memory of the late Nate Thumond.

Most of the NBA 2K17 uniforms also have an authentic feel to them and the post releases shoes are now dynamically displayed in game mode saves when you start a new mode or when you use a custom roster which was created after October 15.

Going back to the free NBA 2K17 weekend play, you can keep all the scores and achievements you earn during this time. Moreover, you can access your saved games whether you buy NBA 2K17 during the promo period or at another time later.
