The 2018 Toyota C-HR Has ‘Beauty’ Written All Over It

The 2018 Toyota C-HR has officially made its debut at that 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show last Thursday and it radiated with more than just power. Simply put that the 2018 Toyota C-HR has beauty written all over it. With that being said, the new model is looking like a serious contender in the crossover segment.

Not The Average Crossover

The 2018 Toyota C-HR is not like the other conventional crossovers. A report from Fortune stated that the 2018 Toyota C-HR which is short for Coupe High-Rider was described by Toyota as a stylish, athletic and tech-filled vehicle. Compared to other crossovers, the 2018 Toyota C-HR has a wider look thanks to its exterior features such as the projector-beam halogen headlights, unusually protruding taillights to LED daytime running lights and other outside additions.

Beauty Written Over It

A report from USA Today stated that the 2018 Toyota C-HR has an interesting mix of lines and angles that can be found at the rear portion of the vehicle. In the same report, Toyota stated that its designers wanted the car to feel like a diamond turned on its side. This sets the 2018 C-HR from other SUVs that have boxy looks. The 2018 Toyota C-HR also has another unusual feature in the form of its back seat door handles being situated at the top portion of the door instead of the usual middle section.

2018 Toyota C-HR Powertrain

Beauty is incomplete without power. This is why the 2018 Toyota C-HR is equipped with a 2.4-liter four cylinder engine that is capable of producing 114 horsepower. It is matched with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) as reported.

Price And Availability

Details regarding its price and availability are still under wraps. All interested buyers can do at this point is to check  out the 2018 Toyota C-HR at the 2016 LA Auto Show that is ongoing until Nov. 27, 2016 at the LA Convention Center.
