Nico Rosberg Named As 2016 Formula 1 World Champion; F1 Driver Better This Year Than Ever

F1 racer Nico Rosberg recently won the title of Formula 1 World Champion, beating his Mercedes rival, Lewis Hamilton. Despite all the pride he got for winning, the new world champion has nothing to criticize about Hamilton's driving despite some reports about his actions.

Nico Rosberg Respects Opponent And Rival Lewis Hamilton Despite Tactic To Keep Him Off he Race Track

Lewis Hamilton's tactic during the race was unappealing to Mercedes F1 boss, Toto Wolff who was not pleased by is actions. During the race, he ignored a team order to speed up by blocking his opponents which caused him his claim to victory since the move was so much a risk. He put his victory at risk at the expense of his opponent Sebastian Vettel's Ferrari to not be able to take ahead. When asked whether or not he is going to take necessary action against Hamilton and his act of ignoring a team order, he merely said that anything was possible.

As for the F1 champion Nico Rosberg, he had nothing to criticize about Hamilton's driving. He respects his Mercedes opponent and even praised him for his work. The two have been competing since they were kids and joined the go-karting together, and they have managed to find a way to respect each other in races. He was able to work his way to the finish line, despite Hamilton's attempts in holding him up and allowing others to overtake. For Rosberg, his victory was extra special since he has just beaten the three-time champion and friend to which the pressure was more intense than ever.

Rosberg Felt It More Rewarding To Grab The Champion Title From Rival, Lewis Hamilton

According to Rosberg, Hamilton being his rival for almost his entire life, it felt more rewarding for him to be able to grab the title of a champion from Hamilton. Regardless, he believes that the latter is an excellent opponent, considering his rival one of the best in the world. Nevertheless, Rosberg is now the new Formula 1 World Champion, and he is continually celebrating his victory.
