T-Mobile's Uncarrier Approach And Pricing Revealed In Official Documents

In a move to try and add more subscribers to its network, T-Mobile is adopting a new way of doing business in the U.S. and it's a risky move.

T-Mobile is rebranding itself as the "uncarrier" in the U.S., in the hope of attracting more customers through an approach that works across the globe, but has never been implemented by U.S. carriers. According to leaked documents, T-Mobile lists the carrier's new vision as:

"T-Mobile is the company for people who love their phone but not their carrier's old rules — for people who want more wireless and less restrictions."

To bring this vision to its customers T-Mobile has no trouble pointing out why the current system U.S. carriers follow is not beneficial to its customers, and T-Mobile is hoping that pointing out how antiquated is the way its rivals do business will bring more subscribers to its network.

One of the ways T-Mobile will differentiate itself from other U.S. carriers is by offering devices at full price, but payable over time. You can forget about ever having to sign another two-year contract to get the latest smartphone for a lower price. T-Mobile is doing away with contracts with its Uncarrier approach, and here's how T-Mobile will be advertising its new rebranding (found in leaked documents discovered by Tmonews):

Un-congested- advanced nationwide 4G network.

Un-beatable- latest smartphones for low out of pocket costs.

Un-limited- all plans have un-limited talk, text and web.

Un-restricted- no restrictive annual contracts so you can get the smartphone you want, when you want it.

The new plans T-Mobile will begin offering are contract-free. Single lines will cost $50 per month; include Unlimited Talk, Text and 500MB of Web included with the plan. If a user wants more data, T-Mobile is offering 2GB of data for $10 per month or $20 for unlimited data. If you sign up for $20 per month unlimited data, T-Mobile is including Smartphone Mobile HotSpot. The pricing works out to be $70 per month for unlimited everything, according to the documents.
