iPhone Case Offers Protection And Improves Signal

Most Apple and third-party iPhone cases on the market offer consumers protection to protect their smartphones from damage due to drops or everyday wear and tear. Taiwan-based company, Absolute Technology has developed a case that not only protects your Apple handset, but enhances its Wi-Fi signal too.

The iPhone case is called Linkase and is the first Wi-Fi signal enhancing case on the market. Linkase offers the latest in signal enhancing technology built right into the case. The new advancement called electromagnetic waveguide (EMW) is incorporated as a sliding mechanism and ends user frustrations when faced with poor Wi-Fi reception.

According to Absolute, without the EMW technology, Apple iPhone users usually block the signal with their hand, EMW corrects this issue. The company claims there is a significant Wi-Fi reception boost of 50 percent when using the case. It works with the phone's own antenna to improve signal performance in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Linkase offers a slim and sleek look for the iPhone, unlike the bulky aesthetic evoked by Apple’s bumper cases. The case is made out of polycarbonate, a durable material for ultimate protection. A non-slip, shock absorbent rubber material applied to the side of the case gives it added grip and it’s easy to apply or remove the case as necessary.

Linkase provides device protection and better Wi-Fi reception in a stylish, precision designed case. The case is currently available in several color schemes: coal black, ash gray, frost white, chili red and antarctic blue. It's currently available for the iPhone 5.
