Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Reggie Watts, And Tim & Eric's New YouTube Channel (Video)

It's called JASH and it's a new comedy channel "venture" through which eclectic comedians Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera (Arrested Development, Superbad), Reggie Watts (Comedy Bang Bang), Tim Heidecker and longtime partner Eric Wareheim intend to cleanse the Net of lesser grade vids (like the one of you and your sneezing cat) and flood it with their own (like those of their sneezing cats).

At least this is the intention made through JASH's intro video, appropriately entitled Epic Intro and launched at SXSW on Sunday, March 10. The video shows us the reputed "President of Google" (who clearly doesn't actually exist; no mention here made of Google co-founder and oft spokesperson Sergey Brin) talking about how Google and YouTube have indeed decided to delete all videos that have been uploaded, to make room for the JASH Comedy Network.

Considering it's now a day later and — for good or ill — everything from the tens of thousands of Gangnam Style videos to quick snippets of stoners riding their skateboards into walls can still be seen on YouTube, we're going to assume that JASH is not actually a replacement of these videos. However, it's still something we're all looking forward to, especially considering the unique contributions of the always unique Reggie Watts, who is pretty much a full YouTube channel himself.

The JASH Comedy Network is actually one of 60 new channels YouTube and Google have announced, as relayed by Deadline back in October 2012.

"Among the new channels are efforts from BBC Worldwide, All3Media, Zodiak, Edemol, Russell Simmons' Rush Digital Media, ESPN and VICE to roll out in the coming months," Deadline said.

The latest venture involving Silverman, Cera, Watts, Wareheim and Heidecker will grant the comedians everything they'll need -- financing, production resources, editing facilities, revenue shares and (perhaps most importantly) creative control -- to produce pure hilarity in their video comedic stylings.

JASH Comedy Network is produced by HaChaCha's Daniel Kellison, whose previous work includes Jimmy Kimmel's The Man Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live. The second JASH video will be released through YouTube on April 8, according to The Inquisitr.

The intro video has already received more than 30,000 views after less than one day of being live.
