Hilary Duff Responds To Criticism On Kissing Her Four-Year-Old Baby On The Lips

Hilary Duff desired to share a sweet picture from her family Disneyland expedition. But the photo she posted on Instagram, displaying the actress kissing her 4-year-old son Luca on the lips, ignited disapproval in the comment section, with some users calling the display of love "inappropriate."

On Tuesday, Duff Responded To The Negative Messages With A Second Post

"For anyone commenting that a kiss on the lips with my four-year-old is 'inappropriate,' go ahead a click a quick unfollow with your warped minds and judgement," the post reads.

Following the viral counterattack, most recent comments on Duff's post have been positive, defending the star's mother-to-son moment as normal.

"Love this pic! I still kiss my girls like this and they are 12 & 4. Such a loving second trying to get ruined by stupid people!" one commenter wrote.

Ironically, Duca was sporting a "hands off" t-shirt at Disneyland, when the original picture was taken. Maybe it's a message to online critics not to mess with his mama.

This isn't also the first time of this year that the former Disney Channel teen star has dated criticism; in October of this year, she was impelled to apologize for her Halloween costume, which presented the actress as a tourist and her then-boyfriend, trainer Jason Walsh, as a Native American, decked with a headdress and face paint.

"I am SO sorry to people I offended with my costume," Duff wrote in an apology tweet. "It was not properly thought through and I am truly, from the bottom of my [heart] sorry."

It seems that some of the harsher comments were removed in the hours after Hilary, 29, posted the photo, but messages coming to her defense about how there's nothing wrong with the photo remained on her page. Mix emotion got into this issue that might as well caught the attention of many. What is your opinion? Carry it to the comment box below.
