Apple AirPods Are Now Available In Some Apple Store

After going on sale for preorder last week, following an extended delay from the original October launch window, and another delay earlier this month, Apple's AirPods officially launched today. AirPods are now available at selected Apple Store. Some cities are now offering the most awaited wireless AirPods from Apple.

Apple AirPods Are Now Available In Some Apple Store

Apple isn't offering any easy way to check inventory in stores. The Verge called Apple Stores in several major cities but were unable to confirm any AirPods availability over the phone. However, if you're willing to brave your local mall during the last-minute holiday rush, you might get lucky and find a pair. If ever you will get to find one, grab and own it because you mus be lucky!

Apple's AirPods cost $159 and were announced alongside the iPhone 7 in September. They represent a critical part of Apple's mobile strategy going forward, as the company begins to eschew the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack for wireless audio. Some stores were initially stocked with as few as 10 sets at the time of store opening today with queues in front of stores similar to iPhone launches, according to 9to5Mac. Since selling out immediately, some stores are being re-stocked with as many as 50 additional units.

"Three of the Apple stores we spoke with are still not expecting stock for sale before January," said Apple Insider. "Other retail establishments like Best Buy and Target are still not expecting any, with one Target store we spoke to telling us that they weren't expecting any stock at all of the sought-after peripherals until late February."

Apple AirPods Information

According to a description by Apple, AirPods will give users a wireless, effortless and magical experience. "AirPods will forever change the way you use headphones. Whenever you pull your AirPods out of the charging case, they instantly turn on and connect to your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac. Audio automatically plays as soon as you put them in your ears and pauses when you take them out. To adjust the volume, change the song, make a call, or even get directions, just double-tap to activate Siri."
