2018 Honda Odyssey Teases Before Detroit Auto Show Appearance

Tough times call for practicality and the Honda Odyssey has been considered as one of the most economic vehicles in the auto market. The top selling minivan is ready to continue its journey as the 2018 Honda Odyssey is set to appear in the 2017 Detroit Auto Show next month. Before that, the automaker decided to tease a little bit with some images.

The Double Teaser

According to CNET, Honda had some help in releasing the teaser image for the 2018 Odyssey. Apparently, the development team for the 2018 Honda Odyssey had their children draw pictures of a minivan and the automaker published them along with the actual teaser. Honda basically pulled a double teaser with this one.

The Real Teaser

Just like other teasers, this one does not reveal a whole lot about the 2018 Honda Odyssey. The real teaser image showed a black Honda Odyssey in a blue and green background sporting a floating D-pillar design along with new taillights that shows some very futuristic features. In addition, the lightning-bolt window line design was also shown in the picture. Given the fact that the teaser image is basically a drawing unlike the usual pictures taken in dark rooms, it remains to be seen whether it is accurate with how the real one looks like.

Other Things That Can Be Expected

Reports state that the 2018 Honda Odyssey will have new powertrain options along with a lot of different features. Unfortunately, the automaker did not elaborate more about the things to come. At this point, those that are interested in the 2018 Honda Odyssey will just have to wait for just a few weeks and go meet the actual 2018 Odyssey at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. The event will take place on Jan. 9, 2017 and people will surely be able to find out more about the new generation of Honda's minivan.
