Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One Scarif DLC Is Full Of Issues; Is There A Workaround?

To drum up the players' interest in Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One, the game developer has timed the release of its Scarif DLC patch with the showing of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" in theaters. The movie was a hit earning more than $70 million in its U.S. weekend opening. However, the latest patch for the movie's video game counterpart has brought in a lot of glitches.

Fresh Problems Were Brought In By The Update

Admittedly, the game developer wants to enhance the gaming experience of players of Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One. But instead of doing so, it brought fresh problems to the game. There were many additions such as a huge patch for the basic game, a new game infiltration mode and two additional heroes. But these updates became of no importance since a lot of problems were also inadvertently added.

Some believe that the problem that affects players the most is they can no longer access the previous content of the former DLC that they bought. It now appears that the previous DLC packs of pass owners are all locked. Apart from this, other issues in Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One have also cropped up.

The Developer Is Working Out The Fixes

Some of the problems that seem to have been brought in by the Scarif DLC patch include chat problems and revocation of season passes. There are also some lag texturing issues, Lando problems, Hutt Contracts issues and so forth. EA DICE, the game developer of Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One, is now busy tracking the problem in the hope of resolving the current issues.

There is also a plan to introduce a server-side patch that will restore the game mode of Heroes vs Villains to its former setup. EA DICE also assured gamers that a Lando fix is being worked out for an update on the client side. It has also assured season pass holders that it is creating a fix to solve this problem.
