Heroes Of The Storm Holiday Event Called Snow Brawl Is Exactly What You Would Expect

Just like Winter Wonderland with Overwatch, Blizzard has brought the holiday season to another one of its games, Heroes of the Storm. This time around, the weekly Heroes Brawl event has been given a winter theme, and it's called "Snow Brawl."

According to Gamespot, the event will have players throwing snowballs at each other during matches. Snowballs are available in two types, heavy and fluffy, and they can be found scattered all throughout the arena map. The goal is still pretty standard too: Destroy the base of the opposing enemy.

It seems that Blizzard has been filling the season with a lot of snowball-themed brawls. In Overwatch, players can choose to play "Mei's Snowball Offensive" where they go against another team of Meis chucking snowballs at each other. Just like MSO, "Snow Brawl" will also have heroes throwing snowballs at each other, and they will only be able to hold one at a time (another game mechanic in MSO). The only ironic thing is Mei isn't even a playable character in Heroes of the Storm; only Tracer and Zarya managed to crossover.

Speaking of playable heroes, a new hero DLC is now available for Heroes of the Storm, and it's the warlord Zul'jin. Zul'jin is a character from Blizzard's World of Warcraft and in Heroes of the Storm, he is described as "murderously fast" wielding an axe to the battlefield.

Zul'jin is described to be a berserker in the game and he has a passive ability that allows him to attack faster as his health deteriorates. He can throw an axe in battle, and two axes in a circular arc. He also has a regenerate ability which can only take effect if he is standing still and not taking damage. The full list of Zul'jin's abilities can be seen here.

Heroes of the Storm is playable for the PC.
