Persona 5 Dev Team Says Upcoming Game Codenamed Re FANTASY Totally Different From Shin Megami Tensei, Persona

Persona 5 developers have already revealed that a new game was in the works. While Codename Re FANTASY is noted to be in the early stages, the Persona 5 team is reportedly focused on completely departing from Shin Megami Tensei. Apparently, the Persona 5 team has opted to return to the roots of where the industry of Japanese games has begun.

Persona 5 Team Developing New JRPG Project

It should be noted that Atlus is the development team that reportedly created the hit game title Persona 5. On that note, it has been revealed that a new project has already been crafted by the Persona 5 team. While the team is yet to reveal what the JRPG will be all about, the team may be stern on what the game will not be.

Apparently, the Persona 5 developers are working towards a different direction with Re FANTASY while keeping the ATLUS flavor. It has been revealed that Hashino has been chosen as the game's director while Shigenori Soejima of the ATLUS Artwork Team has reportedly been tasked to create the character art in the new fantasy world. In addition, Shoji Meguro from the ATLUS Sound Team has reportedly been chosen as the music composer for the new JRPG Project.

New Internal Studio At ATLUS, Persona 5 Director Head Of Team

In other news, it has been revealed that a new internal studio has been created in ATLUS sparking rumors of a new fantasy RPG. Moreover, Katsura Hashino has reportedly been chosen to head the Studio Zero. It should be noted that Hashino was also the Persona 5 Director as well as Catherine and Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.

Persona 5 Team is reportedly working on a JRPG with the tagline: A Fool's Journey Begins. Note that the team is composed of people who have reportedly worked on Atlus' products together since 1996.
