Miley Cyrus showed off her dance skills Wednesday in an uploaded a video of herself on Facebook. The video hit viral status in no time and features the former "Hannah Montana" Disney star "twerking" in a unicorn onesie.Twerking is a modern dance which involves lots of shaking and gyrating of the buttocks or "booty". Cyrus twerks throughout the video to the beat of the hit song "WOP" by JDash feat. Flo Rida. 

The viral video came about while rumors about Cyrus' engagement status to actor Liam Hemsworth were in question. Reports from the past few weeks suggested that the couple may have split. Cyrus was spotted without her engagement ring on and then Hemsworth, her husband-to-be flew to Australia on March 1, which just escalated the rumors.

Prior to the release of the twerk video, Cyrus tweeted a photo of herself Tuesday wearing the unicorn onesie and also wearing her "missing" engagement ring. Hemsworth arrived back in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday and was greeted by a swarm of paparazzi, the same day Cyrus' video was posted. 

Friday, during a morning radio interview at KIIS FM's "On Air With Ryan Seacrest", Cyrus talked about the twerk video. More importantly, she explained why she was wearing a unicorn onesie.  

"I had a photo shoot earlier that day and so I didn't really want to get dressed, because I was just going get dressed at the photo shoot anyway, so I wore the unicorn onesie and then my friend was like, 'Oh everyone's  gone, like we have the backdrop and the lighting.' So like, I just started dancing and said, 'Here's my phone will you record it real quick", said Cyrus during the interview.
