Devil May Cry 5 Might Be Announced This 2017

During New Year, it is common that even the big bosses and the CEOs will take to Twitter to greet their fans and make an announcement. One particular tweet that has stood out was that of Hideaki Itsuno, the director of Devil May Cry game itself.

Devil May Cry fans were suddenly alive and buzzing as they talked about the enigmatic tweet by Devil May Cry director Itsuno who greeted his fans with a happy new year and said that he is going to "announce a new game this year." After that, the director thanked the fans.

The tweet was simple and straightforward but for those who have been waiting for eons for the next Devil May Cry sequel took that like a sign from heaven. It's as if a ray of light has finally shone and a new dawn is breaking - at least for them.

Director Itsuno did not give further hints what the game will be so the guessing game is up. The director's last project was Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen which was way back in 2013.

Capcom attempted to re-brand the game but many fans were turned off. Therefore, creating a fifth installment for the game will be a good move to recapture those disappointed fans and bring them back to the fold.

Of course, there is no doubt that Devil May Cry has been one of the most popular game titles - thanks to its storyline and gameplay making it stand the test of time. Although fans will argue which Devil May Cry game is better, its fast-sized and stylized combat.

Whether Itsuno is talking about the fifth DMC game or another game, it will be interesting what he has to say in the coming days or months. For now, it's just a wait and see period and we will keep you posted as soon as there's news from director Itsuno or Capcom regarding Dante.
