Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR HD Now Offered At $0.01

Motorola released the Droid RAZR HD in October 2012, which received Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean software update recently. Now the price of the handset has been reduced to $0.01 on Verizon via Amazon Wireless.

The handset packs impressive features in its category and the reduced price may attract more customers to the Droid RAZR HD.

The Droid RAZR HD sports a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 312 pixels per inch (ppi). A 1.5 dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM powers the handset.

The device is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED and auto-focus and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing snapper. The Droid RAZR HD also includes 16GB of on-board storage with the option to expand to a further 32GB.

The handset includes a 2530 mAh battery which offers 16GB of talk-time and 286 hours of standby-time. The handset also has Bluetooth, Near-Field Communication (NFC) and Wi-Fi capabilities.

The smartphone runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) out of the box and recently, Verizon subscribers have received Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update on their handsets. Even though the software update is supposed to bring enhancements and bug fixes to the device, many users are complaining of various issues after updating their phones to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

The Motorola Droid RAZR HD is available in white and black and Amazon Wireless has reduced the price of both the color variants to $0.01.

The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update may concern many customers before buying the handset but the phone packs impressive features and the price is definitely something that may attract more customers.
