The new Xiaomi's Mi TV 4 will come in three sizes, the 45, 55 and 65 inches. It is only 4.9 mm wide at its thinnest point. From that dimension, TechCrunch said that the Mi TV 4 is 30 percent thinner than the usual size of an iPhone.

As Xiaomi's Hugo Barra noted in an announcement, it's quite invisible when you look at it from the side and has practically no bezel at all. The back of the Xiaomi's Mi TV 4 features a brushed metal cover which is called as the "very understated" transparent stand.

“One of our biggest innovations in building smart TVs is our approach to building modular TVs,” Barra said. While the typical TVs come with the display and motherboard in a whole single package, with its modular TV, Xiaomi allows all users to independently upgrade their motherboard — which serves to be far cheaper than the display.
