Final Fantasy XV Patch 1.03 Latest News: Update Will Add Roads For Open World Exploration?

There are new reports going around that Square Enix will soon be releasing new content through the Final Fantasy XV Patch 1.03. Although there are no confirmations regarding this, the game developer has revealed some of its post-launch plans to give support to the video game. It appears that there will be new additions to the cutscenes that will explain the motivations of the characters.

Rumors Say That Director Tabata Was Running Out Of Time

There were also some rumors that director Hajime Tabata was running out of time during its initial release that he launched Final Fantasy XV in its incomplete state. He supposedly planned to finish the work after its release by way of regular updates and patches scheduled throughout the following year. Some believe that this is what he is doing now with Patch 1.03.

Actually, Tabata and Square Enix have not released any major update yet. It now appears that Final Fantasy XV Patch 1.03 is one of the regular updates that the director and game developer have planned. This current update has slowly deployed some modifications in the open world of the second continent. Previously, players have explored this place by means of a glitch in the game.

Final Fantasy XV Patch 1.03 Implements New Changes And Additions

It seems that the game developer is working on the continent of Niflheim. Its foliage, train tracks, roads and floating bridges are being modified. This work was shelved in the past because of time constraints. Since they are not yet included in the gameplay at that time, Square Enix opted to schedule it for another time. It appears that Final Fantasy XV Patch 1.03 is now making this happen.

Final Fantasy XV Patch 1.03 may also add a number of new geometry to the Cartinaca region. This place was not explorable in the game before. It is actually the first train station stop in the video game. These new additions will surely enhance the gaming experience of FFXV fans.
