Paladins OB41 Patch Notes Revealed; 3 New Maps Available In Test Queue Option

After Hi-Rez Studios announced several future in-game additions to their free-to-play action shooter Paladins during their annual event called Hi-Rez Expo, the company has finally revealed the full details of the upcoming patch which is expected to arrive later this week. The patch notes highlight a new skin for champion Ying, new map for Siege Mode, hero balancing and several bug fixes.

As posted on Paladins forum by community manager Alyssa, there are several tweaks made on the general section of the game. The changes include the removal of both Epic and Legendary Founder's Pack, fixed the issue regarding the auto reset to default of Weapon, Emote and Spray selections. In addition, Weekly Quests have been added for players to complete each week while teams are now getting 300 credits for successfully capturing the payload in Siege mode.

Paladins OB41 patch notes also added the Genie Ying collection which has been announced during the event. The new skin will be available on the Genie Chest which consists of three new MVP poses, new Emote called Wish Granted. In addition, the Head, Body and Weapon skins are also added to the chest.

As seen on the post, the new Stone Keep map will be available in the next update, while three new maps namely Atrium, District and Undercity will be added to the new Queue called Test Queue. It is worth noting that these maps under the Test Queue are unfinished maps allowing players to provide an active feedback for necessary improvement.

Meanwhile, the item Cauterize reduced duration is now changed from 2 to 1.5 seconds and the strongest reduction will now be only applied to a single target. On the other hand, champions such as Barik, Grohk, Skye and Tyra received a fair amount of buffs to their stats and abilities.

So far, the OB41 patch notes are receiving positive response from the fans. Meanwhile, the new champion called Torvald is expected to arrive in future Paladins OB updates.
