NBA 2k17 Update: All-Star Jerseys Are Now Available

On Thursday, the developers of the NBA 2k17 game announced on their Facebook page that the special jerseys for the 2017 NBA All-Star game in New Orleans are now available in NBA 2K17.

All-Star Jerseys Are Now Available

Until lately, the 2016 All-Star jerseys were used in the 2k17 NBA game in match-ups between the stars from both the East and the West. While numerous users had previously uploaded customized jerseys, 2K Sports and NBA took the initiative and leadership to launch the official jerseys on Thursday, Jan. 5.

The NBA 2K announced the great news following on their Facebook page. It posted a great message: "The NBA All-Star jerseys were announced and now they're in NBA 2K17! Pick them up and remember to vote for your favorite player using #NBAVote!"

According to International Business Times, the 2017 NBA All-Star game will be held in the New Orleans, Louisiana on Feb. 17, Friday. All the fans have already begun to cast their votes using the hashtag #NBAVote via different social media platforms besides the NBA's official website.

On Thursday, aside from announcing the 2K17 NBA All-Star jersey, the league also announced that the first fan returns of the ballot which had Cleveland Cavaliers stars, LeBron James, as well as Kyrie Irving lead all players.

NBA 2K17 Launches All-Star Tournament

Aside from the many good news for the gamers, 2K Sports also launched the NBA 2K17 All-Star tournament back on New Year’s Eve. Just like the last season of NBA 2K16 Road to the Finals format, this year's tournament will pit both gamers of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One form their own Pro-Am teams. It was formed by various online players playing against each other in a series of events.

The winning teams will get points for their total score which are also presented on the leaderboard. The team who will be champion would receive a package of $250,000 besides a trip to the real time NBA All-Star Game at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
