Resident Evil 7 Will Feature Xbox Play Anywhere Support

Resident Evil 7 is possibly one of the most anticipated games for early 2017. The game had so much going on such as its reinvention and at the same time, it takes its way back into its survival horror nature. It now gives a whole lot of reasons why fans should be excited for it, especially for those who are planning to buy it digitally for Xbox One.

According to an announcement by Phil Spencer, Resident Evil 7 is the first major third party Xbox Play Anywhere game thus the game is playable on Xbox One as well as on PC. The digital version of the game is needed for this version to work, and the PC should be running on Windows 10. Aside from this, you can automatically get the game from the Windows 10 Store and play the game instantly.

It was during E3 2016 when the Xbox Play Anywhere was announced, and it has presented many great game titles like Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3. More and more games are adding up to the list including some indie titles include We Happy Few and ARK: Survival Evolved. On the contrary, there is no major AAA third party release for Xbox Play Anywhere yet.

Resident Evil 7 is a good match for this program since has been already launched for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is indeed a fact that PS4 has made a little bit of an exclusive feature that has PSVR support, along with other VR supports that will be available on the PC soon. This has been done so that players who opt to purchase the game on Xbox One will also be able to obtain a PC version which will grant them the same access with the PS4 version, according to Attack of the FanBoy. This program can also allow the player to play the game on VR.
