Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3-Inch Phablet Specs & Details leak

When it rains, it pours: we posted the specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 today and now the specs of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 have also leaked.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is going to be one very large phablet. If you thought the Galaxy Note 2's 5.5-inch screen was a little too big, get ready for a smartphone that will trump that and bring a 6.3-inch display into Samsung's phablet lineup. The specs of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 also fall in line with the rumored specs of the Galaxy Mega 5.8, in that this phablet appears to be an entry-level phablet.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch PLS HD display, Android 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, Samsung Nature UX interface, 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, 3,200 mAh removable battery and the device's dimensions would be 88×167.6×7.9mm (it will be the same thickness as the Galaxy S4).

Samsung is also expected to release the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 in two versions, one with a 4G LTE radio and another without LTE. Samsung will also reportedly offer the Galaxy Mega 6.3 in two color options, black and white.

Just like the Galaxy Mega 5.8, you'll need to take any rumors about Samsung's upcoming phablets as just that, rumors. We should be hearing an official announcement sometime in May if the rumors are to be believed. Is a 6.3-inch smartphone just too big? Let us know in the comments.
