Will We See The LG G6 Flagship Smartphone At MWC 2017?

South Korean company LG is back with a brand new smartphone for 2017. LG was giving out invites for the Mobile World Congress (MWC) which is set to happen in Barcelona, Spain. The event will take place on February 26 at 12 pm. LG Fan boys and fan girls are on their toes as they wait for the official revealing of new flagship handset generally thought to be named, unsurprisingly, the LG G6.

In the previous years, LG opted to wait until much later in the year for a late-Spring launch. While the Mobile World Congress will officially run from February 27 to March 2, the new LG G6 will most likely go on sale sometime in March.

The new LG device is will be sporting the fancy new Snapdragon 835 processor plus the latest version of Google's Android operating system. The device is also rumored to be waterproof and dustproof.

The company caught the attention of netizens with a GIF post featuring the colorful fireworks in a smartphone with a quote saying "See more, play more". Techies expect that this could be referring to the screen of the future device. The LG G6 is expected to be packed with a much longer screen, specifically holding an 18:9 aspect ratio. Its screen will most likely stand at 5.7-inches. Its resolution is thought to be 2880x1440 and its pixel density will be at 564PPI. Unlike other brands like Galaxy S7 edge, the gadget will no be having a curved screen. This is because LG has abandoned its modular approach that it took with the G5 in exchange for great power.

It seems LG might be debuting the phone on February 26 as Samsung is also expected to announce its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus during an Unpacked press conference, which may be one day before the Mobile World Congress 2017 starts on 26 February or maybe expect it in March.
