OnePlus 3T Speed Test: How Fast Is The Flagship Killer Processor

The OnePlus 3T is one of the most highly-praised smartphones in the market. It is an improved version of the OnePlus 3 and it comes with a tad faster processor. Take note that the OnePlus 3 is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor while the OnePlus 3T boasts of last year's fastest chip which is the Snapdragon 821. With that said, this phone is getting high expectations for its processor performance. In fact, it has been put through speed tests by many tech reviewers, with the latest one coming from popular reviewer Phone Buff.

OnePlus 3T Pinned Against Huawei Mate 9 Pro

As per GSM Arena, Phone Buff has put the OnePlus 3T and the Huawei Mate 9 Pro side by side to see which among the two has a faster processor. With OnePlus 3T's 6 GB RAM, this phone is expected to perform just as well as the Huawei device. In the YouTube video below, you'll see that the speed test is performed by opening multiple apps on the two phones to see which phone would load apps faster.

At the end of the experiment, it looks like the OnePlus 3T is a tad faster than the Huawei phone. It did not necessarily knock Huawei's device out as the Mate 9 Pro also showed amazing performance, but it did prove that the OnePlus 3T is one praise-worthy smartphone considering its low price. This phone is sold for just a minimum of $439, making it a top choice for Android fans.

The OnePlus 3T is one of the most talked about Android phones on the market not just because it is affordable but also because it is a good performer. Just a few days ago, OnePlus also conducted a charging test for the OnePlus 3T and it showed how much faster the OnePlus phone charges compared to the expensive Pixel XL phone. As per Tech Times, the said test led to the OnePlus 3T charging to up to 57 percent while its competitor only charged up to 19 percent. With that said, there's no doubt that the OnePlus 3T is a highly-recommended smartphone for its speedy charging and performance.
