There will be a schedule when the game will be free for each specific platforms. The schedule will be different for each and every platform. Also, Rainbow Six Siege will release its latest update named as "The Velvet Shell". The latest expansion has two new characters, Mira an attacker and Jackal which will be part of the defense team. Mira is an attacker armed with explosives that can blast holes through enemy walls, while Jackal has the ability to track enemy footsteps. A demo of the characters will be released few days before the update's release along with Rainbow Six Siege tournament.
