It has just been announced that the third season of the anime series of “Gintama” will be released in the United States. “Gintama” Season 3 will be released in its English-dubbed formats. On the other hand, the awaited live-action film adaptation of the said series has revealed new posters showcasing four more characters.

Fans of the anime series will be delighted to know that "Gintama" Season 3 will be coming to the United States this month. The episodes will all be dubbed in English and will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll. Episode 266 to episode 278 will be added to Crunchyroll’s library, which will be available for worldwide streaming before they add the new episodes of the said series.

Meanwhile, the live action movie adaptation of “Gintama” has revealed more updates. Just recently four new posters were released by Warner Bros. featuring four of the main characters in the series. The characters in their new individual posters are Shinsuke Takasugi, Nizo Okada, Henpeita Takeuchi, and Matako Kijima.

These posters are added to the roster of characters that has already been revealed to be joining the cast of the new “Gintama” film. And as usual, the portrayal of the said fictitious characters, especially on the posters, are on point. The movie will star the popular actor Shun Oguri, who will be playing the role of Gintama, and he will be joined by Masaki Suda, Kanna Hashimoto, and many other prominent Japanese actors. Distributed and promoted by Warner Bros., the live action movie adaptation, “Gintama” will make its premiere in Japan on July 14 this year.

The said movie is adapted from the original manga series of the same name. “Gintama” started off in December 2003 and is still publishing new volumes. Even though the manga series is still ongoing, “Gintama” has already spawned an animated television series, original video animation (OVA), and other light novels.
