"The Vampire Diaries" has been a part of everyone's everyday life. For the past seasons, the hit series did not fail to bring in much thrill and joy to viewers in all parts of the world. As a matter of fact, everyone is greatly affected when stars left the show. However, viewers should not worry anymore as some of the former stars of TVD tries to return back to the show's set for the series finale. Would this be the grandest ending for a TV series?

'The Vampire Diaries' All Set For Its Series Finale; Show To Include Nina Dobrev Again On The Script

Inquisitr gave out names of important characters who would return to the show. Sources revealed that Nina Dobrev is already confirmed going back on the show's set. However, it is still unknown if she would reprise the role of Elena Gilbert or Katherine Pierce. It can be recalled that Dobrev has to leave the show during its sixth installment. And ever since she left, fans are in highest hopes that she would come back even just for the series finale.

Also, one of the characters that the viewers are hoping to return on TVD is David Anders. People speculated that Anders would return as he shared that he would come back to Atlanta. However, it was cleared that David is set to film "iZombie" Season 3 and is not yet sure if he would be able to go back to the show. Anders left the show on its fifth season leaving a huge mark in every audience as he sacrifices his life to save Elena. Fans are still in highest hopes that Anders would be visible in the show's finale as he posted a photo with Paul Wesley and Michael Malarkey together.

Aside from Nina and David, Michael Trevino would also return to the show. It can be recalled that his character was already killed by Damon, but he came back few days after leaving others confused about what he really is. Some believed that there could be an easy way out of hell and that his character was able to go back to Earth.
