Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Features Classic Wind Waker Character

Nintendo recently posted a new still image for their upcoming adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The new screenshot features a familiar character which is suspected to be arriving to the game. This new character is no other than the beloved character from The Wind Waker.

According to the report from Game Rant, The Legend of Zelda franchise has produced tons of memorable characters over the course of its thirty-year history. Apparently, there's a confirmation that this year's The Legend of Zelda entry will bring back one famous character from the franchise's most successful installments.

For those who are uninitiated, The Wind Waker was originally released on 2003 and was re-launched for Wii U on 2013. The game highlights the character named Beedle. The said character used to sell items from his ship, trailing the player's acquisitions on their Member's Card and offering a nice markdown to anybody that provided enough investment.

Furthermore, Beedle offered a useful service in The Wind Waker and his memorable spurts of dialogue made him a beloved character in the game. Based on the report, the sailing salesman would reappear in The Manish Cap, Spirit Tracks, and Phantom Hourglass. These three games that were explicitly set in the direct aftermath of The Wind Waker.

Meanwhile, it seems like Beedle will once again be providing items to the players upon exploring The Breath of the Wild. However, this time around, he will be walking on foot, sporting an enormous backpack containing all his products. Fans are already suspecting that Beedle's appearance proves that The Breath of the Wild occurs right after The Wind Waker. But that might not be the case, the deceptive complex timeline of the series has been already revealed. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is set to arrive on March 3 for both Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
