This is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission that distributes the power through a front wheel drive (FWD) setting but you also have an option for an all-wheel drive (AWD) configuration.
The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse RS model will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that cranks out 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. This will also be mated with a nine-speed automatic transmission with the same configurations as the other trims.
Accordingly, the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse V6 and 2-0 turbo have a fuel efficiency rate of 18/25 and 20/23 in the city and on the highway respectively. In addition, there is also a way for fuel efficiency to be boosted on AWD models. Apparently, the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse AWD can disconnect its rear axle on certain conditions to boost the rating in fuel economy.
