Call Of Duty 2017 Won't Feature Futuristic Items And Movements

Following the previously released statement by Activision regarding the nature of the upcoming Call of Duty game title, a recent brief interaction between a Call of Duty fan and Sledgehammer Games' Michael Condrey hinted interesting additional information. Apparently, Condrey's response connects to Activision's "back to its roots" statement. As a result, the next Call of Duty game might be able to bring back most of its fans.

According to the report from The Bitbag, Activision attempted to refresh the interest of the players to the Call of Duty franchise. Activision mentioned that the next Call of Duty entry will go back to its roots. However, there are no further details regarding the development of the game and given the fact, the game is far from ready.

On the other hand, Michael Condrey from Sledgehammer Games responds to an asking fan regarding the possible setting for the next Call of Duty game. He said that it will be on the ground. As a result, it leaves most of the fans extremely excited. Though this could also mean something else, but Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare took players into space. In addition, players have previously fought different foes from various planets already, which means that there's a great chance that the next Call of Duty will be set on Earth.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare features traditional first-person skirmish combined with space dogfighter. However, it seems like the next entry will ditch that concept. Furthermore, players have always gained access to several things such as boost jump, boost slide and even the wall running. Though it keeps the freshness of the Call of Duty franchise, it pushed most of its players away.

Lastly, Call of Duty 2017 might take its players where all technology fails and settle things traditionally. As a result, it will be in-line with the previous games from the franchise.
