'Teen Wolf' Season 6: Derek Returns; Scott Getting A New Love Interest?

Derek Hale might be returning to Beacon Hills soon. Tyler Hoechlin is rumored to be making a comeback in the second half of "Teen Wolf" season 6. Meanwhile, there are speculations that Scott is getting a new love interest when the series returns for its final stretch.

Derek was Scott's previous mentor however, their relationship made a bad turn after Derek became an Alpha and started doing things which Scott considers immoral. However, he continued fighting alongside Scott against supernatural threats. He last appeared in the finale of "Teen Wolf" season 4 during Scott and team's final battle with Kate and her Berserker army. He apparently died before reemerging to be an evolved werewolf with the ability to shift fully into wolf form. He then left Beacon Hills together with Braeden.

According to a report, Hoechlin was seen in the filming of the second half of "Teen Wolf" season 6 alongside another returning star, Dylan O'Brien. "Teen Wolf' showrunner Jeff Davis did not directly confirm nor deny Hoechlin's appearance. "All I can say at the moment is that the resourcefulness of fans never ceases to amaze me," he said. There are also no details about the circumstances of his character's comeback.

On the other hand, there are speculations that the last 10 episodes of the series will finally introduce a new love interest for Scott. Previously, "Teen Wolf" executive producer Jeff Davis revealed that "Teen Wolf" Season 6B will feature Scott's transformation from teen wolf to man wolf. The first half featured Scott as a single guy and with Stiles and Lydia, as well as Mellissa and Argent, getting together, some fans are expecting the final season would finally reveal Scott's other half.

The second half of "Teen Wolf" season 6 will feature Scott and the crew graduating from high school and going to different directions in college. However, another mystery will keep them to Beacon Hills for a little bit more.
