Rainbow Six Seige Outfit Hints Of Possible Japanese Setting For Assassin's Creed

There are speculations that the next Assassin's Creed installment is set in Japan. This rumor though has open possibilities that can revive interest in one of Ubisoft's once popular series.

Rainbow Six Seige Hint

Reddit user FlowerRenaissance posted his findings about an upcoming Assassin's Creed installment. The user found the AC logo on the belt of a samurai suit in Rainbow Six Siege. Both series were developed by Ubisoft.

Ninjas In Assassin's Creed

Most of the leading characters in the Assassin's Creed series are Westerners. The only Asian character featured so far is Shao Jun from AC: Chronicles which is more of a short game. The heroes in the main series though are entirely Occidentals. If the speculation is somehow true then the next assassin is likely to be a ninja.

It's Asia's Turn Now

AC fans will surely monitor Ubisoft's say on the matter from now on. Currently, the developer-publisher has released several major titles right now including For Honor. It's a safe bet though that the game maker is going to release an AC title in the future. The AC series are mostly based in Europe although it branched out to the American revolutionary war and even a story based on pirates in Black Flag.

Featuring Asians in the next AC installment seems the next logical step for Ubisoft. They have seemed to have used up all of the possible European and American storylines. Ninja's have achieved a mythical status as Japan's deadliest assassins. Ubisoft can surely extract several AC games based on them.

About Assassin's Creed

The first AC game was released by Ubisoft on 2007 and the latest is Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia which was released on early 2016. Comics, novels and even a movie was released based on Assassin's Creed. It's also available in several platforms from PC, console to even mobile devices such as the Android and iOS.
