Resident Evil 7 Update: Capcom Hinted An Upcoming Free DLC Via New Image

Capcom has plans of making more DLCs for the Resident Evil 7. It can be recalled that there was a previously Banned Footage DLC for the said title. Their upcoming Resident Evil 7 Not A Hero DLC will be telling an all-new tale that will feature a different protagonist. A new image was released by Capcom in order to tease fans' excitement for the upcoming Resident Evil 7 DLC.

A new teaser image was shared by the Dengeki Online Twitter account. The previous image showed Chris Redfield that can be seen in Resident Evil 7's ending. However, this new image featured a mysterious character and it does not look like the Chris Redfield that everyone is familiar with.

The image also gave a revelation about the Extra Chapter of the Resident Evil 7 Not A Hero DLC. It is set in the same storyline just like the main game, therefore it might give out answers to all the mysteries. It has not been revealed yet if the DLC will be set prior or after the events that happened in the Baker's residence, thus the appearance of Ethan and Mia is not to be expected in the DLC yet.

This upcoming story DLC is expected to be more action-filled as compared to the main game. This is because it features Chris Redfield, who is a special operatives soldier from the Umbrella Corporation. There is also a possibility that this upcoming DLC will indeed give a whole new experience as compared to the main game, according to The BitBag.

This DLC might also include zombies that fans are expecting from the main title. Prior to Resident Evil 7's launch, Capcom has already released some behind-the-scene footages about the development process of the game. Resident Evil 7 Not A Hero DLC might be coming first on PlayStation 4 just like the Banned Footages, because of its timed-exclusivity deal with Sony.
