Harvest Moon 64 Will Be Playable In Wii U But Not On Switch

"Harvest Moon 64" will be out this week, and it will be playable in the Wii U virtual console. The release of the game will be on Feb. 23, just eight days before the launching of Nintendo's newest console, the Switch.

Even though the release of the game has been widely anticipated by Harvest Moon fans, the fate of the Nintendo Wii U is still in doubts. According to Polygon, Nintendo has not released an official statement about the game being playable in the new console.

Knowing The Possibility

With this in mind, it really is very disappointing because "Harvest Moon 64" has the capacity to bring in large crowds of gamers. It would surely rake in massive profits if Nintendo would make the game compatible in the Switch console.

The game sidelined the Wii eShop due to a variety of tech problems. It is also one of the main reasons why the game wasn't smoothly welcomed to the Wii U. Fortunately, Natsume says that getting "Harvest Moon 64" in the Wii U is also possible.

Much-Anticipated Harvest Moon 64 Release

With this, fans of the game are looking forward to its release. According to Toon Zone, it also is a surprise to know that the game will also be released in Europe.

Never before have "Harvest Moon" games got released in Europe. Now that the Nintendo Switch will be released on March 3, there are still a lot of reasons to wait for further announcements regarding to what platforms "Harvest Moon 64" will be released on.

Hopefully, Nintendo considers releasing it on the Switch as well. It would not only make the fans of the game happy, but it will also increase the market of the console as well. Surely, "Harvest Moon 64" will be one of the most talked about games of all-time.
