2017 Mazda CX-5: More Reasons For You To Get One

The 2017 Mazda CX-5 has been one of the most talked about crossover SUVs since late 2016 and this does not come much of a surprise given all the promises it is set to deliver. Perhaps you have already made up your mind about getting a 2017 Mazda CX-5 once it hits the North American market by the end of March this year or you may have decided to wait for its diesel engine next fall. Regardless of what decision you have made, here are a few more reasons why you should get yourself a 2017 Mazda CX-5.

2017 Mazda CX-5: The Diesel Engine

Here's the deal, most of the details of the diesel engine for the 2017 Mazda CX-5, which is scheduled to be delivered later this year, have already been revealed. Mazda has also given us a preview of it with the Japanese spec 2017 Mazda CX-5 diesel that will apparently be very close to one that will be delivered in the U.S. market.

According to Forbes, which had been lucky enough to put the 2017 Mazda CX-5 to the test, the 2.2-liter turbo-diesel has an output of 173 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque that can be squeezed out at 4,500rpm and 2,000rpm respectively. It is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission that simply offers a more engaging driving experience.

If you were worried that the diesel engine for the 2017 Mazda CX-5 will be a noisy one, you would be happy to know that it will not. Apparently, Mazda has added natural sounds smoothers in the piston pins of the diesel engine in order to address the sound problems for the diesel.

2017 Mazda CX-5: Parking Features

One of the best things about the 2017 Mazda CX-5 is the fact that there are more features that would simply be helpful for drivers. According to report, the usual handbrake has been replaced with a new electronic parking brake that you can simply engage by pressing a button instead of pulling the handbrake up. In addition, the 2017 Mazda CX-5 benefits from a reverse camera and parking distance control. It is no secret that parking and driving in reverse are among the trickiest part of driving and these features will be able to make things easier for you.

Needless to say, the most important aspect of any vehicle are the safety features and this is something where the 2017 Mazda CX-5 certainly does not fall short on. The 2017 Mazda CX-5 has updated its i-Activesense safety package that features a radar-based adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist- lane departure warning and driver attention alert. The package also includes automatic braking system along with blind spot monitoring and active LED headlights. The 2017 Mazda CX-5 has a lot more to make sure that you are safe at all times when you are on the road.

2017 Mazda CX-5: A Spacious Interior

One of the biggest reason why most people are going for SUVs these days is because of the fact that these vehicles offer more room not just for the passengers but also for their cargo. That being said, a big smile will most likely be painted on your face with the 2017 Mazda CX-5's interior space. In terms of number, some people would not be impressed but when you get to see for yourself just how much stuff you can pack in the 2017 Mazda CX-5, you will probably be thanking yourself for buying a 2017 Mazda CX-5 instead of a different SUV.
