Samsung Galaxy Note 3 To Spoil iPhone 5S Release Date Party?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 looks to be hitting shelves around the some time as another big smartphone release, the iPhone 5S. Nothing like a little friendly competition, right?

Reports say that the Galaxy Note 3 will make its debut at the IFA consumer electronics show in September in Berlin. Apple’s iPhone 5S is rumored to get an unveiling around the same time.

But wait, wasn’t the iPhone 5S supposed to rival the Samsung Galaxy S4?

"According to our trusted insider, the Galaxy Note 3 will be Samsung's most wanted device, it will sell like hot cakes," SamMobile says.

The Galaxy Note 3 supposedly has 3GB of RAM, which literally outdoes every other smartphone on the market today. The competition with Apple does not stop there. The device also has a 5.99-inch SAMOLED Full HD display, significantly larger than any previous iPhone device.

The Galaxy Note 3 is also rumored to be powered by an Exynos 5 Octa Core and Mali 450 GPU with 8 cores.

There are also those rumors floating around that the Galaxy Note 3’s screen will be flexible and unbreakable.

Basically, this thing might catch gadget lovers off guard and be a bigger hit than Samsung’s other current conversation starter, the Galaxy S4.

But the iPhone 5S should not be counted out yet, with rumors of a new processor to eliminate any form of relying on competitor Samsung. Rumor has it that Apple will move away from the A7 processors in favor of TSMC.

Samsung sources have revealed in the past that the Galaxy Note 3 would be unveiled in the first half of 2013. One major reason the phone is rumored to be revealed at IFA Berlin is because that is where the Galaxy Note 2 was announced.
