The winter finale of "Shadowhunters" is going to be as intense as ever. Spoilers for "Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 10 revealed Valentine's plan would be in full swing. He would use Simon to threaten Clary, meanwhile, the Downloaders are also concocting a plan.

In "Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 9, Clary needed to deal with the blood oath which was slowly burning off her arm as well as the attacks from the Downloaders. Maia, in particular, ambushed her but she was saved by Luke. Alec learned his sister was addicted to Rafael's venom and Simon was taken hostage by Valentine.

The teaser promo for the midseason finale from Freeform revealed Valentine threatening Clary in a video call with a gagged Simon. "If you don't show up in an hour, your Vampire boyfriend would die a death I wouldn't wish upon anyone," Valentine says. The official synopsis for "Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 10 via Spoiler TV revealed Valentine would attack the New York Institute.

Meanwhile, the Downloaders are also planning something to save their kind and their target is Clary. They need to keep Clary away from The Soul Sword no matter what. "If you touch that, it would destroy the whole Downworld," Luke reminds Clary in the teaser.

The video also shows some rather bad premonitions; Clary in tears and Valentine violently forcing her to touch the sword. "I'm doing this for you and the rest of humanity," Valentine says. Fortunately, Clary's group might also have some sort of plan. The promotional photos show the group in a discussion and Magnus which looked like he is trying to put some kind of spell to Clary and Jace. There are also some hot Malec moments coming.

"Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 10 titled "By the Light of Dawn" will air on Monday, March 6 at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform.
