'The Bachelor's' Nick Viall Officially Joins 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 24; 5 More Stars Confirmed

"The Bachelor's" Nick Viall has officially been cast to compete on "Dancing with the Stars" season 24. It is not yet official though whom he will be teaming up with, but reports claim that he is already making preparations for the competition. He is set to join five more stars who were also confirmed this week to compete in the reality dance show.

The longstanding rumor about Nick's participation with "Dancing with the Stars" season 24 has been ended by "Bachelor" mastermind Mike Fleiss on Monday. The executive producer has tweeted the news while "The Bachelor" season 21, episode 9 was on air. He was first rumored to join the installment earlier this year where reports have been rampant that Nick was turned down by the show.

Apparently, the two-time runner up of "The Bachelorette" is competing against more dancing efficient stars, but it is not yet confirmed who will be partnering the Nick in "DWTS" 24. He was initially rumored to dance with Witney Carson who debunked the talks in a recent interview. Nick will be dancing against five more stars also recently confirmed to join the veteran ABC series. Former "Glee" star, Heather Morris, is also reportedly one of the contestants of the new season of "DWTS."

Apart from being musically inclined, Heather has developed her total performer self when she served as a backup dancer for Beyoncé in her previous "The Beyoncé Experience Tour." She is also seen by fans as a strong contender of the installment as she has already gained experience through her participation with "So You Think You Can Dance" season 2.

A veteran celebrity who was previously involved with a past "DWTS" contestant is also reportedly appearing this new season. Charo, who is initially a singer and who has taught the flamenco to Pamela Anderson in 2010, has also been signed to compete alongside professional dancer, Keo Motsepe.

Another reality show star is coming to "Dancing with the Stars" season 24 through Erika Girardi. The member of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" who is also a singer in her own rights will team up with Gleb Savchenko. Chris Kattan, who was a former member of "Saturday Night Live," will also try his luck in the dance show. Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei is the sixth star to complete "DWTS" season 24's list of cast stars for this week.

All these six Hollywood personalities are set to join three more stars initially confirmed to appear in "Dancing with the Stars" season 24. This includes NFL's Rashad Jennings, professional bull rider Bonner Bolton and Mr. T and Nancy Kerrigan. A bigger threat to these stars is Olympics gymnast and gold medalist Simone Biles as well as figure skater Nancy Kerrigan.

The rest of the "Dancing with the Stars" season 24 competitors will be announced Wednesday, March 1, on "Good Morning America." The new installment of the dance reality series is already scheduled to premiere on March 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
