Bose Bluetooth Headphones Offer Wireless iPad, iPhone Control

Bose is well known for its speakers, flat screen TVs, and noise cancelling headphones. For the first time, Bose offers the freedom of wireless sound with the introduction of its AE2w Bluetooth headphones.

As in the predecessor AE2 headphones, the new AE2w Bluetooth headphones feature Bose's exclusive TriPort technology. This platform offers full-range, optimum sound in a lightweight design. The built-in control module on the wireless headphones has an active equalization tool that helps to improve the sound quality.

The Bose AE2w Bluetooth headphones have a range of 30 feet, allowing freedom to move around while enjoying music or video. The Bluetooth control module also controls certain functions of the iPad so users can access enjoy media without the cords. Along with the iPad, users can also connect to the iPhone or any smartphone or any other Bluetooth-enabled device.

Charging of the wireless headphones is easy, through a USB cable to the rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery usage time is seven hours of run time and 200 hours of standby time.

The Bose AE2w Bluetooth headphones can also be connected to two devices simultaneously. This feature lets users watch a video on their iPad while still maintaining a connection on their iPhone or other smartphone. Should a call come in, the Bose AE2 Bluetooth wireless headphones can automatically pause the video to answer an incoming call. The headphones automatically switch back the video that was playing where it left off once the call is finished.

The built-in microphone lets users connect to their iPhone or other smartphone to make calls, command voice-recognition apps such as Siri or Google search. Bose price the AE2w with an introductory price of $250.
