As always, we've aggregated our top picks here for your convenience. Enjoy and make sure to check back next week for more of the best Netflix movies in Instant.

Best Movies on Netflix: The Cabin In The Woods (2011)

The Cabin In The Woods is a comedy-horror film in the best possible sense. The film is about a group of friends vacationing in an isolated cabin. They soon find themselves in the midst of a real life horror movie seemingly taking queues from every Slasher/Monster film ever made.

The Cabin In The Woods accomplishes the rare feat of being terrifying while also pointing out the essential silliness of horror movie conventions and making you laugh about them.

If you're not sold yet, it was co-written by Joss Whedon.

Best Movies on Netflix: Snow on tha Bluff (2012)

Snow on tha Bluff is the first documentary we've had on Top of the Queue and it's probably among the most unique docs you'll find on Netflix. The basic premise: college kids with a camcorder drive to the hood to buy drugs; drug dealer robs college kids; drug dealer uses camcorder to record his everyday life.

Best Movies on Netflix: Big Fish (2003)

It's hard to say what Big Fish is about besides a man with a lot of good stories and talent for telling them. If that sounds vague and cryptic, try writing a synopsis for any other Tim Burton movie and see if you fare any better.

In all seriousness, Big Fish is a cinematic triumph and an epic only Tim Burton could have crafted. It stars Ewan McGregor and Billy Crudup.

Best Movies on Netflix: Capote (2005)

Capote stars Philip Seymour Hoffman as author and "nonfiction novelist" Truman Capote. The film chronicles Capote's work on In Cold Blood, a book about a brutal quadruple murder in rural Kansas. Capote spent six years writing In Cold Blood, interviewing the murderers at length and becoming emotionally attached to them.
