Pokemon GO Update: Legendary Pokemon Finally Arriving Very Soon

Since the release of Pokemon GO last summer, some trainers are looking for more content to arrive for this GPS-dependent game. The second generation of pocket monsters was the highlight of a massive content update for the Pokemon GO. However, something is missing even from the beginning, and it is the Legendary Pokemon. Niantic CEO, John Hanke, said that they would arrive in the game later within the year.

The news came through an interview with John Hanke when he revealed that the anticipated Legendary Pokemon would be making an official arrival in 2017. He also stated that he is confident to say that gamers will be seeing more of these Pokemon within this year, although the statement is quite vague, according to Game Rant. It is not presently known whether this is just an announcement that is meant for the new creatures, or if this indicates a new update that will let trainers catch Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and the like.

It was revealed last year that many trainers were able to have their hands on the legendary Pokemon Articuno way ahead of schedule, and many people were surprised to find that the files for such a Pokemon were already kept within the application. Although skeptics primarily thought that these legendary-owning accounts were just controlling the screenshots, it seems that they had already experienced a prior tang of its power. Niantic also canceled these Legendary Pokemon for the purpose of fairness, which only means that those players do not even have the luxury of time to say goodbye to these extremely rare catches.

John Hanke has also made a revelation about the three additional major updates that Pokemon GO will be getting in 2017. It also seems that one of these updates will already be introducing these Legendary Pokemon into the roster within a global scale. The studio is also currently working on additional features such as player-versus-player combat, reworking gyms, trading and co-operative gameplay.
