Mindfreak host, Criss Angel, was rushed to a Vegas ER last Friday when he passed out during his straitjacket act.His 82-year-old mom and 3-year-old son were in front at Friday night's Mindfreak Live! show in Vegas when his trick went extremely wrong. He insisted that he would never do anything whatsoever to scare them, especially his son who is fighting leukemia.

Unexpected Turn Of Events

The famous extremist was performing for his Mindfreak Live! show last Friday evening, at the Luxor Hotel, where viewers say that the show was canceled 10 minutes after the opening act after Criss was hung upside down in a straitjacket, attempting to escape.

After whirling hopeless for about two minutes, he was quickly lowered down and the curtain closed before the live audience. He appeared lifeless as guests were escorted out. Criss was taken to the Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center's emergency room, about four kilometers away from the venue. He was also discharged the same evening. A fan spotted Criss as he walked out of the hospital, sometime before 10 in the evening.

Criss Angel Explains

"Once I started going up, I was told to begin my escape. That's all I remembered until I woke up. I was literally encircled with paramedics. People putting things in my arms. I felt like, it was really attributed to not eating properly. I've only been sleeping about two hours a night for the past few days and I don't think I was hydrated," the renowned illusionist explained.

Angel Blames Lack Of Sleep And Dehydration

"Once I left the hospital, I was so angry because I wanted to get back to do my show. The audience was thrilled and amazed that I will be performing a magic that has never seen before," he expressed, even though the hospital wanted to keep him overnight for observation.The following night, Angel performed his stunt and effectively executed the trick. The show ended with a wild applause from the audience.
