When WWE revealed the first inductee for the class of 2017 WWE Hall Of Fame, fans were delighted when they heard Kurt Angle’s name. The wrestling machine is the only Olympic Gold medalist in WWE history and regarded as the greatest technical wrestler ever.
The Wrestling Machine
Kurt Angle debuted in WWE, formerly known as WWF late October of 1998. The plan was very simple from Vince McMahon. Angle’s character will be introduced as an All American Olympian. Kurt Angle was able to fulfill that role and to the astonishment of the fans, Angle’s career was even pushed even more. The only weakness Kurt Angle has before was his mic skills. However, due to his relentless pursuit, Angle became the total package in a quick span of time.
Kurt Angle was able to hold all the championship belt imaginable in the WWE. Angle’s feud with Stone Cold, Triple H, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit were considered to be a timeless classic. For those who don’t remember, especially the kids who just started watching WWE in the PG era. Kurt Angle was the one who initiated John Cena to the WWE. Cena was a hungry new comer at that time and Kurt Angle was the champion.
The two amazing athletes had numerous tirades and even had a rap battle. Today as reported, John Cena will induct Kurt Angle to the Hall of Fame at "Wrestlemania". This was actually a great move from WWE in choosing Cena to induct Angle as this will surely be the final chapter in their epic rivalry. Angle already commented on his social media page that he is honored to be inducted by the great John Cena.
AJ Styles Going To Raw Brand
The match between AJ Styles and Shane McMahon is already made. This could be the last match of the "Phenomenal One" as a Smackdown Superstar. Various reports states that AJ Styles will be heading to "Monday Night Raw". Although AJ Styles haven’t commented on those rumors, fans already know that WWE needs AJ Styles to help the Raw Brand with their ratings. If that happens, AJ Styles will continue its battle with Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, or even Brock Lesnar.
