Rainbow Six Siege: Ubisoft Brings 43 New Cosmetics To The Technical Test Servers

The Rainbow Six Siege Technical Test Servers not only aim to fix matchmaking but also give players new ways to customize their avatar. Ubisoft included an additional 43 charms that players can attach to their weapon.

More Cosmetic Items In Rainbox Six Siege

According to PVP Live, Ubisoft finally launched the highly awaited Technical Test Servers that they will use as a controlled environment to test out some new features or make necessary adjustments. This time, they are aiming at improving the current matchmaking system. However, one netizen discovered a ton of new cosmetic items in the test servers.

While Ubisoft has yet to confirm if these items will make their way to the main game, it is likely that they will be integrated into the next few patches. In line with this, most of these new items cost 81 R6 Credits or 3375 Renown. Although, there are also some more expensive charms ranging around 4000 R6 Credits or 18,000 Renown.

Some of the unique items are the Kawaii Hamburger, Kawaii Pizza, Stegosaurus, Toilet Paper and Plastic Infantryman. Meanwhile, there are also Maracas, a Knight Helmet, Floppy Disc, Four Aces and Dice.

Latest Patch Widens The Gulf Between Operators

That aside, while the latest mid-season pass brought in some useful buffs and bug fixes, PCGamesN reports that it has just widened the rift between the characters in the meta. Some operators, like Glaz, were already capable in the field but their added buffs have only made them a more popular pick.

Similarly, Buck also had another buff to his weapon that expanded his clip size instead of focusing on the recoil of his C8-SFW assault rifle. On the other hand, the buff towards Doc might have been a tad underwhelming, as most players still do not seem to make the most out of his Stim Pistol. Since it takes too much time to swap along with its slow reload speed, it would only be natural for players to skip it altogether.

In spite of this, none of the current changes is game breaking nor influence in the overall meta. Even so, players will still lean towards specific operators instead of switching between them. Fans can play Rainbow Six Siege on the PC, PS4 and Xbox one.
