LG Releases LG G6 TVC As Samsung Preps Up For Galaxy S8 Launch

LG has just released a TVC for its G6 smartphone. Coincidentally, the new ad was unveiled less than 24 hours before Samsung's Galaxy S8 gets launched. This may be a non-malicious timing but a few tech enthusiasts can see through LG's strategy.

As per GSM Arena, LG only has a few more hours left to savor its spotlight as a 2017 flagship. Come 11 am March 29, the Galaxy S8 will be the talk of the town. With that, the LG G6 may have been provoked to release its official LG G6 ad which can be seen below.

The ad is a short 30-second video but it managed to showcase all the good things that the LG G6 has to offer. This includes its smaller bezel size and weather-proof body. The LG G6's multi-tasking capability and fast processor have also been shown off. The company also did not fail to boast of its flagship's photography and videography skills. Lastly, the LG G6's rear fingerprint scanner was likewise shown off.

With LG's slogan in the video that says "The Big Screen That Fits Your Hand", it's easy to assume that the company wants to take on other flagship phablets on the market, possibly including the 6.2 inches Galaxy S8 Plus. Nevertheless, this new TV ad may just be the first of the series of ads that LG is preparing to release. Fans can expect to see more as the LG G6 approaches more markets.

As for LG G6's proudest traits, the phone comes with a vivid display resolution of 564 PPI. It is also IP68 certified to be dust and water proof. On top of those, the LG G6 comes with a dual 13 MP rear camera. The phone then comes in three iconic colors of Mystic White, Astro Black, and Ice Platinum. As for the price, the LG G6 is comparable to other flagships like the iPhone, Pixel and Galaxy. As per ZDNet, Verizon's pricing leaked first at $672. Other carriers followed from T-Mobile's $650 to AT&T's $720.
