Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 For A Penny (Deal Alert)

Just because the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the current flagship smartphone from Samsung doesn't mean you shouldn't check out the Samsung Galaxy S3. The 16GB Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 in black can be all yours for a penny.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is still one of the most popular smartphones on the market. It still has great specs, features and an impressive 8-megapixel camera. Samsung has already confirmed that it would be providing an OTA update for the Galaxy S3 to add some of the popular features found on the Galaxy S4. Samsung didn't specify when, but it looks like it's getting ready to release the update for Galaxy S3 owners.

We reported this morning that Samsung is currently testing Android 4.2.2 for the Galaxy S3, and the update also brings many features from the flagship Galaxy S4 to the Galaxy S3. Some of those features include a new lock screen with widgets, an updated version of S Voice, and Voice Control, which will allow you to control the Galaxy S3 with your voice. Those are only a few of the S4 features uncovered in the test build; the final build is rumored to be released some time in the next few weeks.

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 features a 4.8-inch, 306ppi (pixels per inch) 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED HD display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal memory and 2GB of RAM. It also has an 8-megapixel rear camera with zero shutter lag and LED Flash, a 1.9-megapixel front camera, 1080p HD video capture (rear camera), 720p HD video capture (front-facing camera), 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC (near field communications), a microSD slot with support for up to 64GB microSD cards and a 2,100 mAh removable battery.

You can pick up the 16GB Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 in black from Amazon for $0.01 when signing a new 2-year contract. Amazon is also offering free two-day shipping on the Galaxy S3.
